Life Is Better When You Surf® Scholarship Program - Australian Applications

The Global Surf Industries 2018 Life Is Better When You Surf® Scholarship Program is open December 15, 2018 – February 17, 2019 for submissions from kids aged 12-15 years old in Australia.

Global Surf Industries (GSI) are looking to award 14 students in Australia with 2 new surfboards and $1000AUD towards their education, to empower young surfers and encourage their academic learning.

GSI created the Scholarship to promote the positive values around surfing and education and to give back to the surfing community. The Scholarship is focused on kids who exemplify that Life Is Better When You Surf® and show active enthusiasm for their education, rather than on surfing ability or academic achievement.

In 2017 30 kids across USA, Australia and New Zealand received the Life Is Better When You Surf® Scholarship. Since receiving their Scholarships the 2017 recipients have been able to purchase computers, enrol in tuition, pay school fees, participate in interstate sports competitions, attend school camps and a language immersion school.

Life Is Better When You Surf® Scholarship applications are open for citizens of Australia from December 15, 2018 – February 17, 2019.
